Refund Policy
Our Refund Policy
Straightforward terms for flat-fee legal document drafting and review, so you know exactly what's covered before you order.
Before Work Begins
Every engagement starts with a flat-fee quote, confirmed with you before any drafting begins. If you decide not to proceed after receiving your quote but before work has started, you're entitled to a full refund of any deposit paid — no questions asked.
Once Drafting Has Started
Because a licensed attorney or legal writer begins substantive work on your document once a project is confirmed, fees for completed drafting work are generally non-refundable. Instead, every project includes a revision window: if the delivered document doesn't match the instructions you provided, we revise it at no additional charge until it does.
Rush Delivery Guarantee
If you've paid for rush delivery and we miss the delivery date confirmed in your quote, we refund the rush fee in full. This applies to the rush portion of your project fee, not the base drafting fee, and is issued automatically once the missed deadline is confirmed — you don't need to ask twice.
What Isn't Covered
Refunds don't cover changes in facts or instructions after a document has been finalized to your original brief, decisions made by a court or third party after delivery, or requests to redraft a document for a materially different matter than what was originally scoped and quoted. Those are treated as new projects with a new quote.
How to Request a Refund
Email support@jurisdraft.org with your name and order details. We review every request individually and respond within one business day. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method.
