What We Collect

When you request a quote, place an order, use one of our free document generators, or contact us, we collect the information you provide directly — typically your name, email address, phone number (if given), and details about your legal matter or document request. When you place a paid order, our payment processor (PayPal) handles your payment details directly; we never see or store your full card or bank information ourselves.

We also automatically collect basic usage data — which pages you visit and when — through Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, and our own internal analytics.

How We Use It

We use the information you provide to respond to quote requests, process and fulfill paid orders, deliver the documents or drafts you request, and communicate with you about your matter. We use usage data to understand which pages and tools are useful and to improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.

Third-Party Services We Use

We rely on a small number of third-party services to run this site, each of which processes data on our behalf under their own privacy terms:

  • Resend — sends email notifications and confirmations.
  • PayPal — processes payments for paid document orders.
  • Vercel (Postgres) — hosts the site and stores quote, order, and activity records.
  • Google Analytics & Vercel Analytics — measure site traffic and usage.
  • Tawk.to — powers our live chat widget, if you choose to use it.

Cookies & Local Storage

Our analytics and chat tools may use cookies or browser storage to recognize repeat visits and measure usage. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; doing so won't prevent you from using the site, though some features (like chat) may not function as smoothly.

How Long We Keep Information

We retain quote and order records for as long as needed to fulfill your request, maintain business records, and comply with applicable law. You can request deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing support@jurisdraft.org, subject to our need to retain records required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as completed order history).

Confidentiality of Your Matter

Details you share with us about your legal matter are used only to complete your project and are not shared with third parties beyond the service providers listed above, except as required to fulfill your request or as required by law.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of certain data uses. To exercise any of these rights, email support@jurisdraft.org and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
